• Gas: N₂O at 8–10 L/min.
• Temperature: –60 °C.
• Freeze cycle: 90 seconds freeze, 30 seconds thaw, repeated 2–3 times.
4. Withdraw the probe gently after warming to minimize nerve trauma.
